i'm trying to make hummus and i dont have chickpeas :)

great northern beans (for hummus) OR

lima beans OR

black chickpeas

You go to the supermarket and find chickpeas.if you don't get your make hummus with egg and cook with spices.

Kidney beans or any kind of beans work well.
