The koshihikari has more starch in it, which causes it to stick.
Jasmine rice isn't as starchy/sticky when it cooks, so it doesn't stick as much.
Try putting a bit more boiling water in the cooker, because rice naturally soaks up heaps as it cooks. Some rice takes 1 cup water - 1 cup rice to cook, however, the koshihikari may be more dense or something, compared to the jasmine so yeah, just try adding more water before it cools down.
if you cook the rice in the microwave in a pyrex dish it will never stick.
just use enough water for the time it takes to cook properly.

cook same as you cooked previously,and one more thing,,,,,,,,use lit bit of oil at the layer and little salt.
