Need a dish that is particular to a certain culture/country?!

I'm black and some of the foods we like to have is curried oxtails. it is generally a stew served over white par boiled rice. because we love seasonings use....

curry (powder is fine) like one heaping table spoon of it
black pepper
onions fresh
garlic fresh
larrys seasoning salt
goya's sazon if you like

along with....

1.beef oxtails
2. carrots
3. mixed vegetables you know butter beans, string beans, corn ect.
4. celery

last but not least add a corn starch thickener like argo to the pot so that the stew liquid is thick like a gravy but not too thick...
