who but black people love west indian and soul food dishes?!

Question: Who but black people love west indian and soul food dishes?
I noticed I only see those who are black or latino eating such dishes. I heard that whites no offense do not use a lot of seasonings when cooking. West Indian and Soul food dishes are well seasoned and have a distinct taste to them as seasoning salts and black pepper go on almost every type of meat cooked. Just wondering who else likes these foods?

Answers:

fry-bakes, macaroni pie, rice+peas. washed down with Carib of course, and a little Jack Iron to follow.

white English european who likes Trini/Grenadian food

Soul food is stuff like fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and macaroni and cheese.
I'm pretty sure that white people in America eat those all the time.

I am white (Canadian who has lived in the USA) and I love soul food. I am only so-so on west indian food, but I do like jerk chicken.

Oh, and btw, I use salt and pepper on everything I cook. I think most people do.

Edited to add:
I find it strange that you claim to know so much about the eating habits of people in the US when you live in England.

human beings. you're question is biased. white people, asian people, jewish people, all like soul food and west indian food...... all people like good food.

the problem with your question is that it is based in a negative concept that you have concocted about race. not all white people are of the same ethnicity and cultural background. there are many different cultures, ethnicities and cooking styles for people who are 'white'. have a lot to learn about the world and it's a shame you are judging all people of a skin color as the same.

I mean white people in AMERICA. They're NOT all the same..... White people are not all the same culture or ethnicity in america.....
