Question: Can I substitute full-fat "greek" yogurt for heavy cream in a sauce?
making chicken tikka-masala and the sauce calls for cream...not on my diet...how about yogurt instead

Cream does not split like yougart, just simmer the sauce for a few minutes more, I use heavy/whipping cream in my Tikka Masala, Kormas and Butter Chicken recipes, yougart of any kind can split and curdle if boiled to long, 1-2 tablespoons will not throw your diet of, I buy a half pint when I do mine



Yes you can but add a little cornflour so that the yoghourt doesn't split and you may need to add a little honey to counteract the sharp taste of the yoghourt.



oh yes, the yoghurt will be good.
