What kind of oil do i use in making chili oil?!

Question: What kind of oil do i use in making chili oil?
Answers:

As a dressing I would use olive oil but if you are going to cook with it use something less flavored like rapeseed or vegetable oil.

Hello

Most people will use Olive Oil for making flavoured oils and dressings and Sunflower or Vegetable to cook as the later do not impart any flavour. However most TV chefs seem to use it as a general cooking oil as well.
