Is food coloring used in packaged meats?!

Question: Is food coloring used in packaged meats?
My daughter says there is food coloring in kroger meat.

Answers:

I heard that from a former worker at a large grocery store here, she said someone who worked in the butcher dept. told her they added red dye to the meat. That's great for our livers isn't it? I was getting asthma when I would eat beef, and later read that ammonium nitrate (liquid chemical fertilizer) is being sprayed on butchered hanging beef to kill any e-coli bacteria that might be lingering on the surface. Something else great for my liver.

yes there is the kroger is a bright green colour in the natural habitat but looks and tastes like yamoo or tamooki when the brill tans and the niffs are taken out.

I know two butchers and they say YES. Especially in ground meats. 'Always grind your own,' they tell me, and I always have!

No. but there are a few meats out there that are a little mysterious....

Not sure what kroger is.
