Question: I need to know what to substitute for creamed coconut (the kind that comes in a block)?
None of the world or ethnic markets in the area have it so I need to know something to substitute to make the dish tonight for dinner! I'm making Thai Red Curry Pork with bell peppers. Thanks!

I had never heard of this product until this post but I looked it up and it seems like it's just coconut that has been pureed. The following product indicates that the ONLY ingredient is coconut.

I would just use some coconut cream (comes in cans) as a substitute. If you can't find that , just reconstitute some dried coconut that comes in bags with some boiling water and puree in a blender.

I would try Coconut milk.
