Who cooked the food in Africa?!

The "Middle Ages" isn't a period of time usually associated with countries outside Europe, but for most all human history and in all cultures, food preparation and cooking has been the chore of women (after just "gathering" which everyone did). Men may have cooked some of the meat they hunted over campfires while hunting, though.

A woman called Irene. SHe lived in a tin hut, underneath a baobab tree and and thirteen goats.
She made breakfast at 6 AM every morning, it was either oatmeal from millet, on mondays, tuesday and wednesdays, and flapjacks on thursday to saturday. Sunday was an off day when she went to Church ( the Church of Hezebahbi) and that's when it was a buffet made of cold cuts from the previous days meals.

Lunhc was noodles and some green veg, and dinner was a party pizza , she ordered it special to feed like hundreds. SO that's who cooked the food.
