A lot of the time new business owners think about their income and believe if it's not that high then their business isn't doing well.
If your serious about owning a restaurant you should think about how well it's keeping up and surviving out there.
Is it a a place people come on a regular basis.
A good location
Good quality?
Affordable price for the food
Think about the health of the business and not the health of your pocket
Expect too pay things out of your own salary
If you aren't willing to do so then your not born to do business.
A steady income will come in around good time
5-6 months
My brother opened a Mexican taco place on a busy street, close to lots of businesses, not a lot of foot traffic though. He has good food and a simple menu. It took him probably 3 years before he could start making "good money". After 8-10 years he had enough money to expand it a little bit, he took over the next door space and remodeled, added a few more items to the menu and now he doesn't have to work there at all (maybe once a week).
The secret is to serve great food and make it affordable for people.
The chances are not good. Restaurants use a highly transient workforce, a highly perishable inventory (food), and a highly fickle customer base.
Statistically you would be bankrupt in five years.
We can't predict, too many variables!!!
