As it's part of the John Lewis Partnership, it's a slight cut above the rest of them.

I work in a waitrose, i wouldnt say its posh, people just spend more there and most customers are wealthy- designer clothes and bags etc, you do regular training on customer service etc and your section manager secretly assess you on how you work, checking you are following the mystery shopper criteria, anythnk below 80% is bad to them, but you do get a nice bonus and good discount in john lewis and places like alton towers :D and in resturaunts so its a pretty awsome place to work

The quality of the food is the best. I buy lots from this supermarket. They sell products from my country which i can not find in any other shops. The staff training is also very good, they all seem very happy working there.
Good luck with the interview.

It isn't posh exactly but stands for quality because they don't sell as many ridiculous brands as Tesco. Waitrose will also be a quality employeer and it stands for something in British society becuase they truly support British farming and quality produce.

It is known as the 'posh' supermarket. It tends to be more expensive overall than Asda, Morrisons, Tesco or Sainsbury's. It is affiliated to the John Lewis chain.

Overpriced, but generally helpful staff and well presented premises, opened one here a couple of months ago avoid it like the plague, prefer quality at the right price like sainsburys.

Not posh exactly. But they are known for good quality food and a better range than the usual supermarkets.

They are also mostly found in the better parts of towns, where there are more people with money!

waitrose sell what all the others sell, they just THINK they are posh

reality is they are just overpriced

but you want to show the very best side of you no matter where the interview

not posh.just higher quality.

They a bit more upmarket than some of the other supermarkets. good luck with the interview

Well I got thrown out of a Waitrose for taking a **** in the freezer cabinet.... so yes.

Its not exactly posh .. The quality is better

think harrods but a national chain. you have your work cut out for you.

lol posh hahahaha

just better quality aand dearer
