Do most Thai places have fried rice?!

Question: Do most Thai places have fried rice?
My friend says they do but I thought that was just Chinese food and were going to order Thai food in a bit. Thanks.

Authentic Thai cuisine do have fried rice (Khao Phat).
The differences with Chinese fried rice is Thai is using Thai Jasmine rice instead of regular long-grain rice and they usually like to put the ubiquitous nam pla (fish sauce).

Khao Phat Supparod Talay (Pineapple fried rice) is one of the most popular and famous.
Khao Phat Goong (with prawns) is also known.
Khao Phat Khai (with eggs)
Khao Phat Kratiem (simple garlic fried rice)
Khao Phat Pu (crab fried rice)
Khao Phat Kai (chicken fried rice)
Khao Phat Che (vegetarian fried rice)

There are many Thai dishes that use the technique of frying rice, adding various ingredients etc. It's not strictly a Chinese dish only.

Is only one dish.
I really love to cook and eat Thai food.
Sorry hon in Ohio - maybe open up your own Thai restaurant!

YES, Thai Restaurants to have fried rice... many different kinds actually some very flavorful and spicy too.

Yes, most Thai places do serve Thai food. And honestly, it tastes much ,much better than disgusting chinese fried rice..................just my opinion.

Ask when you call,

Thai food is sooooooo clean and healthy, Lucky you, we have no Thai here in ohio

I'm not sure. I've only seen white or black steamed rice at out local Thai restaurants. You could call to ask.

they do because if they didn't serve americanized things like fried rice and egg rolls then they would lose business ....

in thailand there is very little fried rice used and no egg rolls and as well as fortune cookies none of these things are really served in Thailand or china or japan at all but i bet you get a fortune cookie and on the little piece of paper it will say learn Chinese even though thai people don't even speak Chinese lol

p.s. if they have a dish called "gang dang" order it its my favorite thai dish

im a chef
