Everyone is different, but typically American biscuits are eaten in the morning with sausage, jelly/jam, butter, ham (sometimes), eggs, bacon... biscuits and gravy are a common American breakfast. Some people make little breakfast sandwiches with them.

Lunch... they aren't traditionally eaten at lunch.

Dinner... Butter or jelly/jam. They are usually a side dish at dinner.

Like I said, different people do different things, but this seems to be what most people would say about eating American biscuits.

Live in America and I love biscuits

American biscuits are a moist flaky cross between scones and soft rolls. They commonly are eaten with breakfast, such as accompanying sausage & eggs. They are also used somewhat like dinner rolls or as snacks, lol. They are awesome equally with honey, jelly, or with gravy.

The secret to tender biscuits, like other shortbreads, is to work the dough as little as possible.

Recipe, sorry, American measurements:2 c flour, 2 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp each baking soda, salt, & sugar, 1/2 c cold butter, 3/4-1 c buttermilk
Whisk dry ingredients together, cut butter into flour mixture until like coarse crumbs w/ a few larger pieces. Fold buttermilk into dough until just mixed. Turn dough on lightly floured board, pat to 1" thick, cut into 2 1/2" rounds. Bake at 375 f for 18-20 min until they are golden.

I'm sure they will make a fine accompaniment to froglegs or any other dish you wish, lol

You can eat them instead of bread, anytime.

While they are warm, they are best split open and buttered. Or with jam, or with both butter and jam. You might light them buttered with marmite.

Split open and smothered in sausage gravy, they are a breakfast main dish simply called 'biscuits and gravy.'

You can split them and put a cooked sausage patty, fried egg and a piece of cheese and make a breakfast sandwich out of them.

Eggs Benedict can be made with them instead of scones or English muffins.

They can be used for strawberry shortcake.

Take the same batter you make the biscuits out of, drop it by spoonfuls on top of simmering soup, and cover for about 20 minutes and you have excellent dumplings.

Do you normally eat bread with frog legs? If so - then yes, they will go with them. But when I have frog legs in the South - they aren't served with any bread. So it is up to you.

I eat them. With: butter, butter and jelly or preserves, country sausage, ham, bacon, with a slice of vine rined tomato, bake them with cheese in them, with gravy on them, scrambbled or fried egg and sometimes they are good all by themselves.

Biscuits are good with anything. If people eat them with fried chicken I am sure they go well with frog legs.

Biscuits are usually eaten with breakfast eggs and bacon with butter and jelly or jam.

They'd be allright with frog legs although I'd rather have a regular roll with them.

They go best with tea or milk.

I'd say that corn bread would go better with frog legs.

Nothing I just eat them...

eat them with little weenies!
