Toffee is a burnt sugar butter concoction, much like caramel, but caramel has cream so it's a softer texture and creamier taste. The toffee was the crunchy bits---basically lightly burnt brown sugar and butter.

Toffee is very close to caramel in flavor, but caramel is made with milk or cream as a finishing ingredient, while toffee does not use cream or milk, it is just sugar and water, but just as tasty as caramel!

It has a very similar taste to caramel. Except it's not gooey like caramel but kind of tough and crunchy, like fudge after it hardens.

Let me guess........it taste like toffee !!
