Food question??? ANSWER PLEASE!!!!!!?!

Question: Food question??? ANSWER PLEASE!!!!!!?
I'm trying to lose a bit of weight and get in shape for spring/summer weather. If this becomes my normal diet, do you think it will help me? ...

Lunch: Ceasar salad with a few croutons and cut up chicken patty (school lunch)
No snacks
Dinner: Whatever is served, but no seconds and only a minimum amount
I drink water throughout the day and have a glass of orange juice before school. Is there anything I should improve on? Thx!! Oh and btw I'm 14 and about 118 lbs.

No it is NOT a good diet. Ceasar dressing is Very full of fat. And besides you will get hungry again rght away.

Pack a lunch. Salad if you choose, add bell peppers, grilled chicken or shrimp or even tuna/fake crab meat, tomatoes avacado matchstick carrots, cucumber etc...

What about brekfast, brekfast is Very important. And so are snacks, as long as they are healthy/smart snacks.

How tall are you 118 poun ds sounds like a good weght, sounds as if you just need to work out a bit to tone up.

If you don;t eat enough calories you are doing two things wrong to your body. One you are mal nourishing it, and second instead of burning fat your body will store it.

Good snacks would be a tbsp or two of peanut butter and an apple orr some cerly sticks, baby carrots, nuts, a slice or two of cheese, a glass of milk and so on....

Ceasar salad can have more calories than a Big Mac - they have tested this and shown this on many TV programs.

It is the worst salad to eat if you want to lose weight.

A chicken patty is also not "real" chicken - it is processed chicken - full of salt and fat.

Orange juice is not healthy, despite what they all say - the only benefit is vitamin c and you can get that from tablets. Orange juice is full of sugar - even the unsweetened kinds.

Well, you sounds tiny enough already and I dont think you really need to worry. Maybe its not the diet you should worry about. If you wanna lose some extra stuff around the middle then a good set of crunches always will do the trick. But, if you must watch your diet then I would suggest eating breakfast for sure. It will help get your metabolism going for the day. Try healthy things like egg white with veggies or some grapefruit. Not just a glass of juice. And for lunch, salad is good but the caesar dressing is not. Trying a vinaigrette would be better and definitely some grilled chicken. Nothing fried. Eat lots of fresh veggies with dinner, and stick to lean proteins. Nothing too fatty

You need some sort of breakfast. Maybe yogurt, apple and cereal. Also, caesar salad is one of the highest calorie salads because of dressing. Considering your height and weight now, you don't have anything to worry about. Eat and exercise and try to get in at least 5 fruit or veggie servings per day.

You need 3 nutritious meals per day. Your diet is terribly lacking and you are consuming garbage at your school. Orange juice and nothing else for breakfast? That is a huge sugar hit. You don't give your height but you are probably not overweight anyway. Read a good book on nutrition and get it right.
