Whats a spicy dish you recommend?!

Question: Whats a spicy dish you recommend?
Hey everyone, Ive been a huge fan of hot foods since I was 10! I am now 16 and everything I eat I add hot sauce, dried chilli seeds, chilli slices, pepper sauce or whatever floats my boat. I even started growing some chillies so I can add them fresh to my food in the future. Anyway the question is, what is a medium ~ hot dish that I should try or even challenge myself to eating. Tell me the hottest things you have eaten so I can give it a shot :D

Answers:

The hottest food I have ever tried is Spicy hot pot in Szechuan style, as soon as I put it in my mouth, I bursted out tears and my lips & my tongue got numb!! The stock for Spicy hot pot contains a lot of red hot chili, Szechuan peppercorns, white peppers, Szechuan hot sauce (dou ban jian) & chili oil. They put a pot on a stove with different raw ingredients such as beef slices, fish balls, tofu, Chinese cabbages, mutton slices, chicken and many other vegetables surrounded the pot, the consumers can adjust the heat of the stove and they put raw ingredients into the pot for cooking and serve hot immediately (kinda like Cheese Fondue)

While you told us that you like hot sauce or hot food, I would like to suggest you to try Thai Cuisine, they use a lot of different spices and herbs as ingredients, Thai food tastes very unique and spicy hot. Tom Yam Gong Soup (Spicy hot shrimps, Thai eggplant, lemongrass, coriander & lime juice soup), red beef curry, spicy minced pork salad.

Below is a photo of Chong Qing (capital city of Szechuan Province, China) hot pot, in the pot, there are two kind of stock, one of them is clear tomato & leek stock, another one is spicy hot stock (you can see a lot of dried chili floating in the stock.

I like to make spicy mac and cheese. I use pepper jack cheese and add red pepper to it, the last time I made it way to spicy but it was still good. You could just add red pepper to the boxed stuff if you don't cook much.

Chile con Carne "Meat in Chile Sauce" It's a Mexican Dish. Actually I am going to show you how to make the "Chile sauce" and you can add it to beef, pork, chicken or even fish and it will come out delicious.

Reconstitute in boiling water a bunch of Chile Cascabel (They sell you these types of dried chiles at the grocery store) When they are rehydrated remove the stem and seeds. Put them in a blender along with fresh garlic and a pinch of salt. (for 1 bag of the dried chiles I put 2 large garlic cloves) Blend away until it's completely liquefied. Then you are going to strain it but with a colander that will not permit the skins to go through. So all you have left is the sauce. Put sauce to the side and start with the meat. Cube a nice piece of chuck steak and brown it on all sides add chopped onion and diced fresh jalape?o peppers. When onion is translucent add the chile sauce. Cover and bring to a boil then reduce heat to simmer for about 20 min. Sides: Mexican Rice and Beans Note: You can use this sauce for kinda meat you want. Try it with chicken wings too OMG awesome. Good Luck!

I'm a MexiCAN not a MexiCANT. lol

Thai Beef Salad
Grilled Thai beef salad "larb". This is spicy and fresh; and perfect for a hot summer day!

This fresh grilled beef salad redolent with fresh herbs and the heat of chile is a great quick summer meal. The salad is fresh and delicious, and perfect eating for days when the mercury climbs. Thailand is hot hot hot, and they know how to eat in the heat!

Spicy Thai larb beef salad

A little more than 1/2 lb of beef. You want a good flavorful cut of meat. Flank or skirt will work well, as will chuck steaks. The meat can be a bit chewy, that's OK, and a common Thai preparation would even use grilled brisket! You could use a more expensive cut, but this salad is more about the flavor than the tenderness, and it just so happens that the cheapest cuts are usually the tastiest!
About 2 Tbls of fresh mint, sliced
5 or 6 shallots, thinly sliced (or about a half a red onion, thinly sliced)
3 or 4 green onions sliced
? to 3 Tbls of dried chile. Use as much or as little as you like.
2 Tbls of fish sauce
The juice of 2-3 limes
1 Tbls dried rice. This is pretty important. You take some raw rice, and place it into a heavy skillet over medium and dry fry it until it is nutty brown. Place the rice in a spice grinder or small blender attachment, and grind to a powder.
Grill the beef until medium rare or medium. Let rest for as long as you cooked it for, and slice thinly across the grain. Mix the beef with the chile, the lime juice and fish sauce, the herbs and onions and the dried rice.
Taste and adjust the seasonings to taste. If it’s not salty enough, add more fish sauce, and if it needs more sour (or the fish sauce taste is too strong) add more lime. Add the dried chile to taste.
You also can add more herbs to taste if you like.
This is great with rice. Wash this spicy dish down with sweet fruit shakes or cold lager beers.

Don't get scared off by the smell of the fish sauce…it's supposed to smell like that! It will blend in to the dish, and add a great depth of complex flavor, and you won't taste that fishy smell anymore.
