Can I buy pizza dough from a pizza place?!

Question: Can I buy pizza dough from a pizza place?
Someone was telling me about how they go to a pizza place (I can't remember which one they said) and could buy just the dough for a few dollars. Then you could take it home and put whatever you want on it and cook it yourself. Anyone know which place they could have been talking about? it was a pizza chain not a mom and pop place.

Answers:

Supposedly

I hear Food Network hosts and chefs telling viewers all the time that you can go to ANY pizza place and ask to buy pizza dough. I personally think it's pretty nervy, especially when pizza dough is one of the easiest homemade things you can make.

You can call around and ask. Don't know where you're located, but here in Wegman's, Harris Teeter, Giant and Bloom we can buy the balls of pizza dough in the deli or fridge section.

Don't know about your restaurant, but trader Joe's has several types of fresh pizza dough that are really good! Also some groceries have it. Here in Ga. you can get it at Publix

I think so

U should call the restaurants and ask them.
