Cooked Whale meat is alot like a fatty slightly fishy tasting steak, I am a former chef from Canada, and dealt with it here in Canada's far north when there in a hotel and when I worked in Japan I cooked and tried it, we ue to get a bit and serve it sashimi style, smoked like beef and in a soup like the Chinese style herbal chicken one with the blue silkie fowl, it is prized in Scandinavia and Japan for its power to heal and aid in limiting the ageing process.
