How do I make my chile verde taste less sweet?!


Question: How do I make my chile verde taste less sweet?
I used roasted anaheim chiles and threw in some garlic and some salt but I don't how it got so sweet.

Try some lime juice or vinegar. Sweet/sour is always good. If you don't mind some extra heat, you can try adding some ground cayenne or chipotle, or a little bit of hot sauce like Tabasco.
Are you sure you didn't accidentally use sugar instead of salt?



Use lemon/lime. I think the acidic will help.
