Its different. garlic is good to health, but better dont take it in raw form. it will harm your digestive system. its true garlic pickle is very tasty but take it in little quantity.
Garlic's nutrients are better absorbed if you crush it and have it raw. You may still reap some of the benefits from pickled garlic, but not near as much as fresh.
Main benefit - they will keep for longer without drying out.
No they are not the same as raw..... they are pickled!!!??!?!
