Sounds like paneer makhani served with papadums. Paneer is actually Indian cheese, which looks like firm tofu. And the tortilla stuff is actually called papadum, a type of bread which has been baked and cooked just like crunchy tortillas.

It was most likely Paneer Tikka Masala (this has a deep red gravy) or Paneer Makhani (which is more orange than red). --Side note, paneer isn't tofu, it's a firm type of cheese. Isn't it yummy??--

The "tortillas" will be one of these:

- Naan (white and soft, usually kind of puffy, maybe a little crispy sometimes, usually served with butter)
- Roti (in a nutshell, its a whole wheat naan, and it's sometimes completely flat)
- Papad/ Papaddum (really thin, and crunchy, it's almost a cracker (its thinner though), and the surface waves a bit, and it has little bubbles in it, its made of a paste almost, usually lentil or chickpea, I find it a bit bitter)
- Paratha (a roti that's insanely buttery, crispy (not crunchy), has layers, and is completely flat.)

I don't think your bread was bhatura or puri because they're not usually served with Paneer Tikka Masala or Paneer Makhani.

Hope this helps identify it!

I'm Indian :)

If you had it at a restaurant, you can call and ask them. If you remember the price that would help them narrow it down.

Paneer malay curry

I believe it was Paneer Makhani but its kinda on the brown side.. I guess it depends on who makes it! Hope I helped(:
