Probably, to be sure go compare prices..

Do the maths.
I bought a 20kg bag of Basmati rice for £19.99 at my local Indian shop. Call it £20 that works out to £1 a kg

A 500g packet of Basmati Rice at Tesco's is 69p Therefore a Kilo is £1.38 Therefore I saved £7.60 buying the 20kg bag.

As I say, do the maths with your local prices.

Yep. I buy a 25 pound bag of Jasmine rice for $10 - $15 at the Asian warehouse. Looooove it. Generally, when you buy anything in larger quantities, it will be cheaper per unit.

20-25 lb bagged rice is generally sold cheaper than the little boxes. Rice is sold cheapest at warehouse clubs like Costco, Sams, Walmart usually sells them cheaper too.

I don't know what the prices are, but you can divide the price over the mass, and get the price per unit.

The large bags are more cheap. they cost like 30 dollars for like 25 pounds.
