I just found roe in my sardines...is that ok?!

Question: I just found roe in my sardines...is that ok?
I really like sardines and I have always wanted to try caviar and gourmet roe like on sushi. But today I was trying to enjoy a can of sardines to find the sardines where grainy and tasteless. When I look closer at the particular piece I was eating I found what looked like little eggs in the fish. I almost vomited, it was so gross. Now I don't want to try any other type of fish egg because i was so grossed out by this.

I wanted to ask if this is common in sardines, should I complain. I don't want to stop eating sardines but I never what to come across that ever again.

It's like winning a prize! It is safe to eat no problem.
I often buy fresh fish and always have to tell the fish monger that I want to keep any roe that he cleans from my fish. they won't tell you and so you have to watch them when they clean the fish because they'll keep it for themselves and or sell it.

It's like finding an onion ring in the middle of your french fries. Just because you weren't expecting it doesn't mean it's not yummy.
I have no idea if it's common or not but take the treat. Once you get over the texture it's really good!

I love sardines!!! Yes you will find eggs in them.. Thats what they do! Cook some bacon, and have bacon and eggs???Enjoy!!
