Yes, it is often served as Duck a la Orange or as Montmorency - with cherries, or as duck confit where it is roasted and then preserved in its own duck fat.

It is also a part of German cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Balinese and many other countries. I love Duck that has been rubbed with 5 spice powder before it is roasted.
