Primal cuts = shoulder, rib, loin, tenderloin, sirloin, round and hip
Sub-primal cuts = chuck, brisket, short rib, outside round, shank, steamship round
Fabricated cuts = Primal cuts cut down into steaks or other retail cuts.

Married to a chef.

Primal cuts are the shoulder, rib, loin, tenderloin, sirloin, round and hip, sub are the chuck, brisket, short rib, outside round, shank, steamship round, there is to my knowledge no cut know as the fabricated one, not in the training I received as chef, now could the stuffed London Broil made from the flank be considered one, ground beef or stewing beef also this is a matter of interpretation.
