What are traditional food served at hindu weddings?!

Question: What are traditional food served at hindu weddings?
I have a project in my comp religion class and my group has to put on a hindu wedding. It cant be a presentation it has to be like a real wedding. I have been trying to find menus that are seen at hindu weddings but I am coming up with nothing. I need a full course meal to make for around 35 people. So I need an appetizer, main meal, and dessert. Also if there is anything in particular that you happen to know about hindu weddings that are very important in the ceremony or any role of a family member that can't be forgotten that would also be very helpful.

Gordon Ramsey did a show where he visited India so he could try their authentic food. One of his stops was with a guy who cooks for very large Indian weddings. I'm afraid the main course was two goats cooked whole in a large pot full of rice, which may not be plausible for your project :) There was something else though, something a little more tame, having to do with stuffing chicken that might be better. It was a while back when I saw it so I don't remember too well.

I found it on youtube though:

It's in parts so you might have to watch the next part to see it all.

Good luck on your project!

Indian cuisine for Hindu weddings is so diverse and vast therefore you have a wide range of foods to chose from. The food and deserts for Hindu weddings must be vegetarian, egg free and alcohol free as all Hindu religious ceremonies (that's what a Hindu wedding is btw) ban these substances from even entering the premises it's being held in.
I'd recommend consulting a Hindu as Indian cuisine varies depending on the country.

Traditionally the food served is vegetarian and each region has different rituals.
