Curry from scratch without using the blocks?!

Question: Curry from scratch without using the blocks?
Have curry powder [hot, India], chicken, a couple of onions. Looking for a good curry recipe without using the blocks. What else can I pick up at the store?

Answers:

I cook chicken in the crock pot
meanwhile on the stove fry one medium diced onion
add one can of diced tomatoes and one small can of tomato paste
add curry powder to taste
add chicken and its juices
simmer for 10-15 minutes

serve over rice

go to any grocery store,Conoco,shell,etc.
you can even go to fiesta,Kroger's,h e b,etc.
buy some sunflower seeds salted or unsalted ground them up & sprinkle or shake them on your food about 3/4 the way done cooking
