How do you describe the taste of salt?!

Question: How do you describe the taste of salt?
Answers:

i would try and compare it to something else.. such as the sea water.

salt is a basic taste that i dont think you can use other types of tastes like sweet, bitter, etc..
that would be misleading and hard for the person to imagine.

There are taste buds on your tongue that pick up several tastes and SALTY is one of them.

Sometimes salt tastes dusty and seems gritty just before it dissolves. If it is a special sea salt it might have the taste of that area and "terroir"

You cannot, cause the only thing that tastes like salt is salt. There's nothing alike, simular to compair it's taste to. But I would say it tastes bad, but on foods it's enhances and make food tasty.
