Some fish contain higher levels of mercury. Here are a couple of sites that should help.

Not all fish has mercury
Salmon can be eaten as much as you like

twice i think

21 times a week

None.

Eat as much as you wish
90+% is more a scare than fact.
You have never heard a # fact as to how may illnesses..??
The fishing industry and the marketing sources make routine testing by law.
For get the nonsense

Certain fish contain mercury and should not be eaten often or if you are pregnant. Swordfish, shark and other ocean seafood fall in that category.
However it is safe to eat tuna fish, salmon, perch, pickerel and many other varieties. We eat salmon, tuna, whitefish about 2-3 times each week and eat chicken at least twice. We hold our consumption of Red Meat to 1 time per week for health reasons.

You don't need to eat fish at all (remember, you are on the vegan/vegetarian section). You can get all the omega-3 fatty acids you need from flax seed oil, nuts, etc. That way you don't have to worry about pollution contaminating the fish at all.
