What part of Italy is the famous American chef Rachael Ray from?!

Question: What part of Italy is the famous American chef Rachael Ray from?
She's an American of Italian ancestry, but sadly doesn't speak Italian.I find it odd that her immigrant Italian parents never taught her our language since I'm also first generation American and both of my parents taught me Italian from early childhood since our language is part of our identity and cultural heritage.

Answers:

All I could find was that, Ray was born in Glens Falls, New York. Her parents are Elsa Scuderi, an Italian (Sicilian) American and James Ray, who is of French, Scottish and Welsh descent. Sorry It's not much but I couldn't find more info :)

She would be the first to say she is not a chef.... no formal training, no certificate.
