I would really like to find out how to make a slushie (any flavor).?

Well, I kinda wanted to make a Coke slushie.


Answers:
Peach Slush With Blueberries

1 lb. Ripe peaches (about 4 large), sliced, pitted and peeled (see note)
1/2 C. Sugar
1/3 C. Cold water
2 t. Lemon juice
1 1/2 t. Vanilla extract
1/2 C. Sour cream
2 C. Blueberries
4 sprigs mint

Arrange the peaches in a single layer on a jellyroll pan and freeze for about 30 to 45 minutes. When frozen, put in a food processor with the sugar, water, lemon juice and vanilla and process until slushy.

Add the sour cream with the machine running and process until smooth. Distribute 2/3 of the blueberries among 4 wine glasses. Spoon the peach slush over the berries. Scatter the remaining berries on top and add a sprig of mint to each glass. Serve at once. Makes 4 servings.



WATERMELON BERRY SLUSHIES

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup cubed seeded watermelon
1 cup ginger ale or lemon-lime carbonated beverage
2 Tbsp frozen (thawed) limeade concentrate
1 cup frozen unsweetened strawberries

DIRECTIONS:
In blender or food processor, process watermelon,
carbonated beverage and limeade concentrate until
liquefied. Gradually add frozen strawberries blending
just until slushy. Serve immediately.


Swashbuckler's Island Slush

Ingredients

1 8-1/4-ounce can crushed pineapple
1 6-ounce can frozen pineapple or orange juice
concentrate
1/4 cup cream of coconut
3 cups ice cubes
1 12-ounce can chilled grapefruit carbonated beverage

Directions:

1. In a blender container combine undrained pineapple,
frozen juice concentrate, and cream of coconut. Cover
and blend until smooth. With blender running, add ice
cubes, 1 at a time, through opening in lid. Blend
until the pineapple mixture is slushy.
2. Add carbonated beverage to container and stir
gently. Pour into glasses. Makes 6 or 7 (6-ounce)
servings.


Citrus Slush

2 1/2 cups sugar
3 cups water
1 (12 oz.) can frozen orange juice concentrate
1 (12 oz.) can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 (46 oz). can pineapple juice
3 cups cold water
4 quarts lemon-lime soda or ginger ale, chilled
lime slices

In 6 qt. Dutch oven over high heat, bring sugar and 3 cups water to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves; remove from heat. Stir in frozen orange juice and lemonade concentrates until melted. Stir in pineapple juice and 3 cups cold water until well blended. Pour into 2 13x9x2 baking pans. Cover and freeze overnight until juice mixture is firm. Cut each panfull of frozen juice mixture into 24 squares. Place squares in 2 gallon punch bowl or Thermos jug. Slowly pour chilled soda over squares; stir until punch is slushy. Ladle into glasses. Garnish each glass with a lime slice. Makes about 2 gallons or 32 (1 cup) servings.
