Homemade Lemonade Help!!!!?

I am trying to make Homemade Lemonade. I just want to use lemons, sugar, and water and i'm wondering how much. Something with 6 lemons at the most.

Homemade Lemonade
Ingredients
Makes 2 quarts
4 cups freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 cups sugar
3 1/2 cups water
Lemon peel strips, for garnish (optional)
Directions
In a medium saucepan, combine 2 cups lemon juice and the sugar. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, and let syrup cool.
In a pitcher, stir together lemon syrup, remaining 2 cups lemon juice, and 3 1/2 cups water. To serve, pour over ice, and garnish with lemon peel, if desired.
