i had this box of mac n cheese and i cooked and the cheese was yellow. Is cheese supposed to be yellow. because i usually eat purple cheese

From what I've seen over the 43 years I've been alive, it's not unusual for cheese to be yellow. That's not the only color it can be, though, so I'm not going to disallow your claim of eating purple cheese. I must say, however, I'm not familiar with cheese being that color.
