Homemade Lemonade Help!!!!!?!

Question:

Homemade Lemonade Help!!!!!?

I am trying to make Homemade Lemonade with the ingredients lemons, sugar, and water. I do not want to heat it or put it in a pan.

Answers:
That's correct, but don't forget about the ice! I don't think you would have to heat it or put it in a pan, atleast i don't

1C lemon juice
1C sugar
2 Qt water
easy as could be

What I would do is put it all in a pitcher. Also put some ice in it, unless you really don't want that. Have fun!

what are you talking about , heat it in a pan. i dont do that. i just get a litre of water, sqeeze some lemon juice in, add sugar to taste and add ice and boom, homemade lemonade. its not rocket science.

I have never heated it up or put it in a pan...

Just get a pitchure of water squeeze a few lemons and add some sugar and stir. I usually add 4-5 lemons and 1-2 cups sugar. Just keep tasting it as you add things untill it is how you want it.

You need to dissolve the sugar. You can heat a small amount of water and add sugar. Stir it until it is disolved to make a simple syrup. You can then add this to your squeezed lemons and water.

Try starting with this recipe: 1 cup lemon juice to 4 cups water and 1/2 cup sugar. This won't be correct because of the variations in the sourness of the lemons. Eurekas are very sour and meyers are not. But this will give you a starting point to where you will have to add something and not have over done anything.

I agree with Dave, but the addition on the juice of 1-2 limes give it balance.

You dont have to heat it in a pan, but your going to have to mix it alot so the sugar will disolve.

Squeeze the lemons to extract the juice. If you want to get all the juice out, zap the lemon for about 10 seconds in the microwave first. Add the juice and water to taste and then mix in sugar. But you'll have to stir for a long time to get the sugar to dissolve and it may still give you "sugar sludge" in the bottom.

The way to avoid that is to make a simple syrup with some sugar and water cooked on the stove so the sugar completely dissolves. Then you add that to taste to your lemon/water mixture. Simple syrup will keep in the fridge for about a week.

ummm you dont need to heat it! i never even heard of heating it up all you do is add lemons, and water in a piture and do a taste test with the sugar to determine how much that your going to need!
