Serious question here about some food I seen...?!

Question: Serious question here about some food I seen...?
Ok, not trolling or anything racist, but do Chinese people actually eat Deep fried Pigeons? Cause well, I found a Chinese restaurant here in town that sells such a dish. At first, I thought they were pulling a prank or something, but I've also been told that this is an actual dish. So the question really is, do you guys really eat deep fried pigeons or is this just the one shop here in town?

Answers:

Many people eat quail, cornish hen, grouse, doves, pheasant, duck, goose and who knows how many other different birds. Deep fried pigeons tastes pretty good. Chinese deep fried pigeons could be a little dry and chewy sometimes. But, when they are good, they are really good.

PS: Do you know some native Canadians eat seals? (Seriously)

Yes Chinese do eat pigeons, just like eating other birds like chicken, duck, goose, quail, and other types of of meat for that matter.

Pigeons - not only in China - Very popular in many Latin countries. (Palomitas) Really not that different from guinea or cornish hen or quail.

I'm Mexican, and I eat pigeons, although i believe the correct term is Squab. There's even an Iron Chef battle featuring them, so it's not an ethnic thing per se
