How do i bake seasoned porkchops?!

Question:

How do i bake seasoned porkchops?

i want to put a rub on my pork chops for dinner and bake them in the oven...Do i need to put water in the bottom of the pan?

Answers:
I bought some pre-seasoned stuffed pork chops @ the grocery today for dinner & they turned out awesome!! The directions said to bake @ 350 for 25 minutes - I baked for 35 minutes, turning every 10- 15 minutes & they were so moist & juicy!! Served with mashed potatoes, green beans & garlic toast......Yummy!

You need one of those pans that came with the oven that has the slotted top to put your chops onn and the bottom will catch all the grease and fat and stuff. you bake it for 30 mins on each side on 350 degrees. or you can broil it for about 10 mins on each side.

I like to pan sear the chops first - a couple of minutes on a side using a cast iron skillet (how long of course depends on the thickness) with a wee bit of oil in the bottom - then plop the pan in the oven at 325 for about 10 minutes - you could add a little broth, wine, water to the bottom - but I don't - a well cut chop shouldn't need the vapor.

What I would do with that broth/wine/water is to deglaze the pan after I pull the chops out and pour that liquid over the chops and/or mashed potatoes :)

Put rub on them and put them in foil for around an hour and a half depending on how well you like them.
Good luck
