Who invented sweet tea?!

Question:

Who invented sweet tea?

Answers:
I think that this was the Sri Lankans.
In much of Asia cows, and their milk are considered by some religions as sacred.

When making tea they used a sweetening agent, and a tinned milk. Condensed milk is both. Tea is boiled rather than brewed as is the west, the condensed milk is added at the beginning of the process and not added at the pouring stage as we are used to.

I used to live in Sri lanka and tea was always made this way.
