Help decorating a cake to look like a map of usa and europe?

someone close to me is coming home from europe and i want to decorate a cake to look really cool- any ideas/edible decorations i could add to it to make it look like a map of the us and europe? i thought i could put blue sugar crystals on the water, and outline the countries, and put a little lego guy coming home...any other ideas? THANKS!!!


Answers:
well to get creative you could: take a pastry bag or just by colored icing in a tube and draw an outline of two people walking towrds eachother. Inside of them you could color them the american flag one, and the other the country your friend is coming from.
