Picnic Deviled Eggs From Food Network Kitchens

6 hard-cooked large eggs, peeled
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons minced celery
1 tablespoon minced dill pickle
2 teaspoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
Dash of hot sauce
Paprika

Halve the eggs lengthwise and pop the yolks from the whites. Set the whites aside, rounded side up on a plate. Mix the yolks with the mayonnaise and Worcestershire sauce in a medium bowl until the mixture is smooth and light. Add the celery, pickle, parsley, and season with the salt and hot sauce.
Spoon the yolk mixture back into the whites and sprinkle with paprika. Serve now or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

cold fried chicken, fruit, soda and water, pasta salad, chips, and a nice sweet dessert. do not bring a mayonnaise based salad because it will spoil from the heat if it's not kept cold in a cooler. good luck and have fun.

another good idea is to buy one of those portable grills, and grill a few chicken breasts or brats or something. and invest in a good cooler so you can keep the meat cold in ziplock bags or reclosable containers.

Make some bread rolls with some fancy filling. Spread a slice of bread with butter, remove the crusts and with a corner facing you add the filling and roll up.
Fillings to consider:-
Several asparagus spears and mayo.
Cucumber sticks.
Cold shredded chicken.
Imitation fish and a few pieces of shredded lettuce.

These are just a few ideas, but if you are not used to them it is something new for you and who ever.

just take classic hot dogs. Maybe soda crackers, ham, cheese, bologna. My all time favorites are different types of cheeses and fruits. Cheese+fruits= delish. Try the deli or a bakery if you're not sure.

I love cold or hotchicken, potato salad, chips and watermelon. HMMM.
