Do You Like Kumquats?!

Question:

Do You Like Kumquats?

Are they good? I want to try one, but they are a bit expensive and I sort of want a second opinion. Or third. Or fourth. ;p Thanks.

Answers:
shut up and buy it. you live once and why go your whole life wondering what it tastes like.

Jeez, I haven't eaten those things in AGES. They are good. I liked them. I haven't eaten them for about 6-7 years. They're good though. You should try them. :)

i love kumquats...the skin is sweet...and the inside is more tangy ...i like it...maybe cuz i;m asian...i grew up eating them...i even have two trees in the front yard...i think it takes time for people to get use to it...but if you like tangy stuff...then i say go for it...

i haven't had them in about 4 years. loved the skins on them. the only problem is getting the bitter ones. like strawberries...sometimes you get the sweet ones and sometimes you get the really sour ones.

I had one a few years ago, & to me it tasted like a small orange. I was told to eat the peel too, tried it & chose not to.

they're really good if u like a tang and tart taste. they're very enriched with vitamins and they are good for sore throats. asian singers back then use to mix this fruit in their drinks to clear up their throats.

Um..... no, I don't personally like them (soooooo sour, worse than lemons), but they r super good for u. If u have a sore throat or u think u may be coming down with a cold or flu then eating a few kumquats will quickly knock it on the head. If u HAVE to sweeten them use pure honey, not sugar, but they r so small that suffering a little bit of acid is better than getting sick, I think. U must try them for urself though, don't just take my word for it. I know some people who just eat them like they r oranges or mandarines. If u like a sour citrus fruit then u'll like kumquats. I reckon they have more vitamin C than lemons or oranges put together.

They are good, if you like oranges. I never see them anymore though.

It's a top fruit choice for most of the gophers I know.

i recommend a kumquat martini!
