Would it be ok to put winter vegetables in with my sausage casserole?!


Question:

Would it be ok to put winter vegetables in with my sausage casserole?

would it taste gross if i put carrots, potatoes, pumpkn etc in with my sausage casserole to make it more filling and healthy? or would it ruin it? the sausages are beef chipolatas and their is a bit of curry powder and onion in with them but thats about it! oh and stock! should i add or not?!!
please help!

I think it would be perfectly fine. Add ingredients that you enjoy combining flavors with. Good Luck!

you dont give alot of detail on the type of casserole you are making and im not familiar with the type of sausages youre using ,but I do make a dish where i cook polish sausages with cabbage, carrots, onions and potatoes.Its wonderful.
I start with my sausages in the bottom of the pot,1 16oz. can of beer 3 cups of chicken stock and 1 sliced onion. then i lay the cabbage,carrots and potatoes on top.
simmer on top of stove about 1 hour.sommetimes you have to remove the potatoes and carrots and continue with the cabbage because it takes more time than they do.
hope you can come up with something that works for you.
