Answers:
Ok, to be original you gotta start from the basics. A burger is not just a burger. Get it?

Mix ground beef with chorizo, Italian sausage, or bacon; just changing the flavor of the meat will drastically change the flavor of the burger with all the same old condiments. And the teacher, if she is like mine, will like the subtlety of the change, instead of a major rework of what a burger is.

Try it at home with your family to determine the combination of meat before going straight into your class with it though. And listen to your customers, do not just rely upon your taste.

name: "X All"
Bun, burger patty, 2 types of cheese, ham, bacon, cooked egg sliced, tomato, lettuce, Italian sausage and corn.
All in small amounts off course.
Mayo on the bun.

french onion burger.

just add a package of french onion soup mix to the ground meat. and a dash of garlic powder and black pepper. mix it all up and wa-la, a good burger with a fancy name....and serve it on a crusty french roll once it's done.

Make your patties with mutton and onion, fry an egg, add some really tasty cheese a slice of beetroot and add some coleslaw.
Call it the infamous Kiwi Mutton Burger.

If you don't like someone make sure you don't break and cook the yolk. (snigger snigger)

tonight I made an italian burger - topped it with mozzarella cheese and put a dollop of sun-dried tomato pesto. Thought it came out very good and so did the wife.

The cafeteria where I work makes a great burger called the "Red, Hot, and Blue Burger."

They grill a nice sized beef burger and pour a lot of Cholula sauce on it; then they put a large mound of blue cheese on it and let the cheese melt a bit. It is served on a Kaiser roll. Super delicious and original!
