What day is the best day to make a cake?

ORANGE DREAM CAKE
1 pkg yellow cake mix
3/4 cup Miracle Whip
1 pkg Dream Whip
3/4 cups orange juice
3 eggs
2 tsp grated orange zest
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine the Miracle Whip, Dream Whip, cake mix, orange juice, beaten eggs and orange zest with electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes.
Pour into a greased and floured 10" bundt pan.
Bake 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out nearly clean. Cool 10-15 minutes, loosen sides with a blunt knife and remove from pan.
Cool completely. Stir together 1 1/2 cups 10X sugar (confectioners) with 2-3 tablespoons of milk and drizzle over cooled cake. Sprinkle top with coconut if desired.

For me personally, it is the day of a birthday, and preferrably down the hill at my Mom's because we have trouble with things rising up here at our elevation, but everything turns out so perfect at her place.
There are only two reasons not to make one: health or personal problems!
it depends what are you making it for? i like to make it and let it cool a few hours then ice in refrigerate, than eat it the next day. if its for a party i make the cake the evening before store in a cool place the ice it right before its time for it. it all depends on you you can freeze it up to 6months in an air tight seal storage bag right after you cool it for a while and it will taste just as fresh as the day you made it when you thaw it, but you have to let it cool for a while then freeze.
It doesn't matter what day it is. It's always a good time for cake! Except if its really humid, sometimes baked goods don't turn out as well on really humid days.
