How do you cook sweet potatoes in the oven?!

Question:

How do you cook sweet potatoes in the oven?

Answers:
Puncture them with a fork, rub a little olive oil on the outside and wrap them in foil. Then, bake them until they are soft. In a sauce pan melt butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar (to taste) to drizzle over the sweet potatoes when ready to eat. Yum!

wrap them in tin foil and turn on the HEAT.

BAKED SWEET POTATOES

2 tablespoons olive oil
3 large sweet potatoes
2 pinches salt
2 pinches ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat the bottom of a glass or non-stick baking dish with olive oil, just enough to coat.
Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into medium size pieces. Place the cut sweet potatoes in the baking dish and turn them so that they are coated with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper (to taste).
Bake for 60 minutes or until soft.

You don't have to use foil, If you like the outside crispy you can just prick a few holes in them & set them right on the rack in the oven.

You can add butter w/ salt & pepper or even add some maples syrup & raisins - yum!

Use the baking time suggested by the other answers, they R all good, just for a twist , peel the SP's , sprinkle lime juice, cayenne pepper(just a tiny bit), salt pepper, add some diced english cukes and enjoy!

you wrap them in tin foil and put the oven on 250-350 depending on how fast you want them done

Bake it the same way as how you would normally bake potatoes.

Very Important. If you bake them plain or foil wrapped, be sure and put them on or over a baking sheet. Sweet potatoes are called sweet for a reason and will drip sugar. Without a sheet it makes a real mess in the oven. For good measure, line the sheet with foil for easy clean up.

the same way you do a regular white potatoe.
put it in foil and bake!
