Cake made out of ice cream cones?!

Question:

Cake made out of ice cream cones?

My sons birthday is coming up and a friend mentioned to me that she had seen somewhere a cake made out of ice cream cones. It was like a make your own sundae bar, at least thats how she described it. The cones were apparently arranged to look like a tiered cake, and around the cake were all the condiments for ice cream that you could think of. I dont know if she saw it in a magazine or in a recipe book or on tv but i really want to find out the specifics. Does anyone know where i could find a recipe for something like this?

Answers:
Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes

Ingredients:
1 cake mix, any type (plus ingredients required on the box)
24 flat-bottomed ice cream cones
1 can frosting, or homemade if preferred
Candy sprinkles (or cake decorations)

Steps:
1. Heat oven to 400F degrees.

2. Prepare batter for cupcakes per instructions on the box.

3. Pour scant 1/4-cup batter into flat-bottomed ice cream cones so they are a little less than half full, or about half full; if you fill the cones too much, the cakes will not have a nice, round top.

4. Place the cones on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 18 minutes.

5. Cool and frost, then decorate with sprinkles as desired.

Good luck and enjoy! =)
