How can I make Miso soup?!

Question: How can I make Miso soup?
I like it, but my store has these pre-made bowls for like 2.50. I want to make more for cheaper.

How?

Answers:

You can buy miso paste in a tub, usually over near the tofu in the refrigerator section of the store.

Simply add a heaping spoonful to a small bowl of very hot water, and stir.

If you want, you can chop up some green onions and firm tofu, and add that to the soup as well.

You can also use dashi - a type of Japanese soup base made from seaweed and dried mackeral - instead of plain old water. Dashi is sometimes found in the soup/sauce aisle, either as a liquid or as a powder you mix into hot water.

Simple just buy the miso paste.
