i cant buy anything ,and my roommate doesnt allow much that's high calorie. i need some munchies!! i dont like veggies. sorry, i just dont wake up with a hankering for brussel sprouts!!!! thank you!!

Try mixing your own trail mix - it takes 4 ingredients: something sweet, something salty, something chewy, something crunchy. Use ingredients of your choice. Some I have used are: M and M's, salted nuts, raisins or raisins, small pretzels or any kind of cold cereal. Mix together and store in tightly sealed container.

Sweet and Salty Snack Mix
Ingredients:
5 cups Crispix cereal
2 cups bite-size pretzel sticks
1 cup honey roasted peanuts
1 (6 ounce) can roasted salted almonds
1/2 cup frimly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 cups Bugles original flavor snacks
Steps:
1. Combine Crispix, pretzels, peanuts and almonds in a large bowl and set aside.
2. Cook brown sugar, butter, and corn syrup in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved.
3. Pour butter mixture over cereal mixture, stirring to coat well. Spread evenly onto a lightly greased aluminum foil lined jelly roll pan (15x10 inches).
4. Bake at 325o for 20 to 25 minutes, stirring twice. Spread immediately onto parchment paper or wax paper. Let stand to cool completely, separating mixture into individual pieces as it cools. Transfer to a large bowl and stir in Bugles. Store in an airtight container.

Get organic popcorn! Cook it on the stove and season with garlic and salt. Yummy.
Smells wonderful and is full of fiber.
Hint: don't fall for microwave popcorn. It's full of nasty trans-fats and smells awful.
make up mini lasagnas and freeze them, pop one in the oven when youre hungry. thats my favourite midnight snack.

My son used to take mixed salted nuts and put them in a bag with raisins. Sweet, salty, crunchy and chewy.
