Should I do this recipe?!

Question: Should I do this recipe?
Ok, so I'm currently low-carbing but I found a recipe for chocolate moose (yes, moose - in the shape of a moose) and I really want to try it. The three main factors are a cupcake, chocolate frosting, and a twinkie. The garnishes are chocolate antlers, m&m's for the eyes, and tootsie rolls for the ears. I found a recipe for cream cheese low carb frosting and low carb cupcakes, and I found a recipe for homemade twinkies that I can tweak to be low carb (substituting peanut flour and sugar substitute is basic, and I plan to just use plain cream cheese for the filling). And I'll figure something out for the garnish (they probably sell sugar free m&m's and tootsie rolls, and it's not that hard to make sugar free chocolate for the antlers). But it's a lot of work and won't taste anywhere near the original. But see, my low carb diet came at a very bad time. I recently found a cookbook called What's New, Cupcake? with all these awesome cupcake recipe's, like a cupcake made to look like a sandwich and a cupcake with a topping like Chinese lo mein. I want to try them all, but of course I can't use the standard ingredients. I've been on my laptop all day looking up low carb recipe's for such things. Should I give it a shot anyways, or not?

As you said, isn't this a lot of work? who makes their own twinkies? You are low carbing it, right?
put away the awesome cupcake cookbook. Make fruit salad with some artificially sweetened marshmallows. It will be yummy and keep you steaming ahead on you diet.

I don't know if you are aware of it or not, but being sugar free does not mean that things are carb free. Sugar free candies and cakes still have carbs in them.
