How bad is it to drink red bull or any energy drink..?

It is deffinitely worse to drink red bull or any other energy drink because what they contain in them is caffiene. That is what makes them keep you a wake. Caffiene is a drug and, like any other drugs, it can be extremely addicting. Plus, it can be very hard to fall asleep with even a sip of it in the morning. Coffee is better because it has just enough caffiene to keep you going, but not enough to get you extremely addicting and make it hard to fall asleep. It also depends on how old you are. It is best when you are in your 20's, 30's, 40's, and 50's, but if you are younger than 20, it is much easier to get addicted. Also, it can really effect your sleep if you are older than 60. Red Bull is basically stong coffee with more sugar in it than coffee. I hate the taste, but that's just me (coffee is my drug of choice). I wouldn't drink Red Bull every day because it doesn't seem like the healthiest thing, but as long as your diet is balanced and you don't overconsume, you're fine.

Maybe you should check with your doctor to see if you have Hypothyroidism. Look it up online.

I don't drink them, they don't do anything for me. I'd rather enjoy a good cup of coffee. My husband loves them though. Certain ones makes his heart race and he feels pressure in his chest and he also gets a headache. So he has to stick to ones that don't do this to him. I think one a day would be okay as long as you are not drinking alot of other sources of higher caffine containing drinks. If you have any heart problems or hypertension I would avoid them. It seems like people tend to drink these drinks faster than coffee giving the person more of a jolt of caffine all at once, so I wouldn't slam one.

It is bad to drink them in the long run, one once in a while is ok. But 2 or more a day is way too much. Energy drinks have so much sugar, thats the reason you feel so energized, they also have ginseng, which comes in teas and some coffees. Just don't drink too many energy drinks and you will be ok.

RB is coffee and sugar, not the best combo. I know of a better alternative. More flavors. Great flavors, energy from vitamins. No sugar no carbs. Contact me if you like.
