Is ginger dressing healthy?!

Question:

Is ginger dressing healthy?

Hello everyone! I just ordered sushi for lunch and it came w/ a salad w/ that orange ginger dressing. I was wondering if the dressing was healthy or fattening, I know ginger is supposed to be healthy, but I was wondering if anyone knew any facts about the dressing.

Answers:
Every restaurant has it's own recipe. Down below you'll find one recipe. There is nothing unhealthy about this dressing, but like all things in life....moderation is the key.

i like ginger..juice from boiled ginger is good for digestion.. as for yellow ginger..i don't know

It should be, provided they used a light, healthy oil in the dressing.

Ginger is VERY healthy.

most of the time, they use ginger and soy sauce, and maybe some olive oil, so I can't imagine that it would be fattening.

They typically serve a very small portion with a dressing made with fresh ginger, garlic, oil, lemon juice, soy sauce and orange peel. If you are concerned with calories, just order it on the side.

It is far better than the commercially produced dressings served at American restaurants that are loaded with additives like EDTA preservative, xanthan gum, caramel, and high fructose corn syrup.

Ginger has not impact whatsoever on how fattening it is..it is purely a matter of calories. Ginger dressing generally does not have a lot of oil in it, so yes, it is "healthy.'

of course

Yeah it is the bomb! It helps you loss weight well it helped me. You dont even have to run (if you do) all you have to do is eat ginger dressing on everything.
